Sweet Boy

Sometimes Nathan can be so sweet. Like last night, for example. After church and business meeting, we decided to go to a local fast food restaurant for dinner. When we got there and parked the car, we had this conversation:

Nate: Can I pray for you guys?

Me: What?

Nate: I want to pray for you guys. Can I do that now?

Me and Steve: Well, sure buddy! You can pray anytime you want!

Nate: OK. God, thank you for my mommy and daddy. Thank you that they take such good care of me. Thank you for our family. Please help me to make good choices. And God, You're an awesome God. And God, we love You. Amen

Me and Steve: (melting into a pool of gushiness) Awwwww... thanks Nate!

Of course, after dinner he disobeyed and then threw a huge fit when he was told he couldn't have any ice cream... but it's good to know that he does have his sweet moments! Just your typical 4-year-old boy!

I found your blog through the comment you left on mine. The waiting is so hard and the not knowing if we're on the right path is even harder. I can relate to what you were saying about changing agencies and then didn't because your agency contacted you. The same thing keeps happening to us. It makes me believe God has a plan, we just have to wait for him to reveal it.
