Nathan turns 4!

October 8th, 2008 started early for us. Nathan woke us up by jumping around our bedroom singing, "It's my birthday!" over and over again. He was so excited, he couldn't even eat breakfast before he opened presents!

Steve had taken the morning off since Wednesday would be a late night for him. So after lunch, we enjoyed some cake and ice cream before Daddy had to go back to work. Nathan liked the icing on his cake, because it was covered in sprinkles. In fact... the icing is the only thing he ate of the cake! Oh well!

Nathan received some money from some friends at the church, so yesterday we headed to Dollar Barn where he bought some pirate stuff with his money. When we got home, I made him a treasure map of the backyard, and he and daddy had fun playing pirate for awhile. He's decided he wants to be a pirate for Halloween now!

Then last night, we went and picked up Nathan's friend Jackson, and we took the boys to Chuck E. Cheese! They had so much fun playing games, eating pizza, and watching Chuck E. Cheese perform on huge TV screens in the eating area!

Happy Birthday, Nathan. I love watching you grow! You are my favorite you!
