What does this look like to you?

To someone without a three-year-old in the house, it may just look like a big mess. It is, in fact, a homemade drum set. Is anyone really surprised by that?

Today Nathan was Dakota playing drums, and I was Ms. Dorcas playing organ, and various stuffed animals were the rest of the instrumentalists from last night's Hanging of the Greens service at church. (and by the way, Abigail. You were a bear, and today when Nathan accidentally stepped on the bear, he said, "I'm sorry, Abigail!")

It was a beautiful night last night. The music was great, the pastors were entertaining, the decorations were beautiful, and the family was loving. Everyone worked hard together to make it a lovely service. Obviously it made a big impression on Nathan too because that is what we've been playing this morning. So come on by if you're not busy. I'm sure Nathan can find a part for you to play!
