What a Week!

I'm sure some of you were going into withdrawal not having an update from us, so just for you, here is a brief synopsis of the past week.

Steve - Held down the fort at the office while Jay was at school and Casey was at camp; arranged 3 songs for the upcoming church orchestra; planned (with help from Lila!) an awesome commissioning service for our church missionaries to Romania; went out on a date with his beautiful wife (thanks Lila and Carrie!); welcomed his parents back home after their 3 years in Africa; proctored the ACT at Liberty High School; installed some new posts outside the front of our house (with help from Landon!); and did all the other stuff that he does day in and day out!

Grace - Cleaned like a mad woman to get the house ready for 2 house guests; went out on a date with her handsome husband (thanks again, Lila and Carrie!); welcomed Steve's parents back home after their 3 years in Africa; spent a day apartment-hunting with Steve's folks; proctored the ACT at Liberty High School; hosted a backyard pool and pizza party while Steve and Landon put up posts; ran sound at church; made "Jacob sleeping on a rock outside" interesting to a bunch of 2 and 3-year-olds in Sunday School; and did all the other stuff that she does day in and day out!

Nathan - Helped Mommy with her cleaning (he did a really good job, too!); had a play date with Lila and Carrie and her boys; welcomed his grandma and grandpa back home after their three years in Africa; went apartment-hunting with Grandma and Grandpa; stayed with them while Mommy and Daddy proctored the ACT at Liberty High School; enjoyed getting spoiled by them; played with Adam and Sarah and Hailee and Karson at our pool and pizza party; learned about Jacob sleeping on a rock outside during Sunday School; played in the church nursery for 3 hours during evening service and business meeting; and did all the other stuff that he does day in and day out... which of course included this:

Looks like Nathan took it like a pro. So glad James and Viv are back. Hugged them in the hall yesterday and thanked them for going out of town again so that we can get Nate for just a little bit. Love you guys!
