Whew! Nathan and I just got back this evening from California. One of my Ya-Ya girlfriends was graduating, and I was her surprise present! And what a surprise I was! I won't soon forget wearing a bright pink bow on my head in the middle of Applebee's and hearing Janea screaming and running toward me from halfway across the restaurant! Other highlightes of the trip include: planning a trip to San Francisco with Kimberly (even though it didn't happen, it was fun to plan. We'll do it next time!), watching the DVD of Shari's beautiful wedding (and providing the play-by-play commentary), watching Nathan playing drums at Jennifer's house (say bye-bye to the drum Nathan!), discussing the practicality of coconut bras with Tami (Who cares if it was too small?), meeting Karen's adorable son Connor (He loved Baby Dayton!), watching Kyndal and Nathan holding hands in their car seats, hanging out at Bob and Nell's house (could there be two sweeter people?), seeing lots of friends from the church, and of course celebrating with Janea (Congratulations, graduate!). Sorry, no pictures yet, but I have promises that they will be emailed to me soon.

We had a great time in California! Tomorrow... it's off to Kenya!
