Family Pictures

As part of our adoptive family profile, we needed to provide a family picture. This profile and picture is very important, as it is the first thing a birth mother will see about our family. We wanted them to be special, so we headed out to Wallace State Park with Abby, the most amazing photographer ever! Here is just a sampling of some of our favorites:

And this is the one we're using for our profile. Abby captured us laughing and I love the way it turned out. Thanks Abby! You rock!

As far as adoption stuff, we are just about done with our home study. We have to send in our pictures, and then we have to sign off on the final home study once it's written. Our case worker said she hopes to have it done by the end of next week. After that, we are home study approved and we are on the list for birth parents to choose from. It's amazing that we are at this point.
And now... we wait!

How exciting! The pictures are great. It's a done deal now. I still want to know if you'll consider an older child. Like 50plus. lol

We love the pictures! We are certainly praying for you in this process! We will continue to check your blog for updates as you write them! Oh, and I guess we'll see you in July at the BSU Reunion. Sounds like it will be lots of fun! We're looking forward to it!
