Friday night, the 3 of us went to the Steven Curtis Chapman concert in Raytown with Jeff and Nancy, Darla, and the Raines family. We had such a great time! Nathan loved every minute of it! (And so did Steve and I!)

Here some shots of Steven Curtis Chapman! His band included his 17-year-old son on guitar, and his 16-year-old son on drums. And they were awesome!
Nathan was enthralled with it all... especially the drums. At one point, he was sitting on Nancy's lap, and she said he was so still she thought maybe he had fallen asleep. But, he was just watching the drummer! I couldn't help wondering if he would be playing drums like that someday, and I would be sitting in the audience, cheering him on! Thank you, Jeff and Nancy, for the great birthday present!
