Yesterday, Part 2

After our trip to the Maasai Market, we stayed in the rest of the day, relaxing and enjoying the beautiful outdoors aruond the Howell's home. For dinner, we ate a feast of traditional Kenyan food. It was prepared by Florance, Vivian's houseworker. It took her about three days to make it all. There was soooooooooooooooo much food! One of the biggest insults is for a hostess to run out of food, so Vivian said Florance was "protecting" her from embaressment by making sure we had enough. We all enjoyed it, except for Nathan. He wasn't so sure about this new food, as you can see. He ended up eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich.

Yeah, he doesn't look too excited. What was it that Florence made? I'm sure it was wonderful! Thanks for more pictures!
